Sarah discovered her love for acting while in the Prep school. She was captivated by performing when she was noticed by her drama teacher walking through his garden to get to the field hockey practice in time. Sarah discovered her love for acting to heart and decided to double major in English as well as theatre in Hamilton College. She studied in the UK at Oxford and London during her junior year and graduated with an honorary magnacum laude. Following Hamilton her graduation, she attended Yale Drama School.
